TSMC Arizona process integration and yield enhancement departments are looking for engineering talents to join our advanced technology fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As an Integration Engineer, you will focus on delivering a robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing process with data driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills.

 

Integration Engineer Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Using statistical process control principles to sustain production line health and prevent process/defect induced yield/performance issues; working with module engineers to identify and eliminate root cause; designing and executing experiments; interpreting and extracting insightful results from complex data sets to implement solutions in a timely manner.
  2. PID: New product qualification, communicating with customers to understand and meet requirements, and technology transfers from a mother fab.
  3. YED: Installing, qualifying and sustaining inline inspection and reviewing equipment to expand capability for inline defect detection.
  4. Collaborating effectively with integration and process organization partners to identify technology gaps and deficiencies, evaluate and qualify mitigation and continuous improvement solutions.
  5. Scheduled night shifts and weekend on-call rotations in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment.

 

 

Integration Engineer Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science or Physics.
  • PID: Experience in leading the improvement of the silicon process flow Including front-end-of-line (FEOL), middle-end-of-line (MEOL), and back-end-of-line (BEOL)
  • PID: Experience with process shifts, changes with design rules and product layout with individual process steps and their impact on Function Yield, Electrical Test and Product Performance as well as short- and long-term reliability implications.
  • YED: Experience in bright field, darkfield and Ebeam defect metrology tool usage
  • YED: Experience in inline usage of above tools to monitor/detect integrated and process tool shifts in a high volume 24/7 advance manufacturing fab
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work on cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams with diverse backgrounds.
  • A team player that can multitask and thrive in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in bright field, darkfield and Ebeam defect metrology tool usage
  • Experience in inline usage of above tools to monitor/detect integrated and process tool shifts in a high volume 24/7 advance manufacturing fab
