TSMC Arizona is looking for a Architecture design management engineer to join our new fab project, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s Building Construction Department responsibilities will encompass code interpretation, project planning and scheduling, resource monitoring and control, interface coordination, as well as oversight on quality, safety, and security.
Job Description:
Your main responsibilities include:
- General responsibility of the Architecture design management engineer.
- Ensuring CSA design compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Familiar with IBC, NFPA, OSHA.
- Overall control of the project schedule.
- Coordination and integration of interfaces between various construction contractors and design team.
- Managing related permits and communicating with authorities or relevant parties on construction matters.
- Handling construction/design payments and change orders.
- Managing safety, quality, and security on the construction site.
- Inspecting and documenting the construction site.
- Review drawings and submittals.
- Monitoring the design progress of the design consultant and identifying potential risks based on construction schedule requirements.
- Support construction management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- B.S. Degree in a relevant field, such as Architecture, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
- Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc), graphic software (AutoCAD, etc) and BIM software (Revit, etc) is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in the U.S. in architecture design or a related field.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience on international building regulations and construction sequence.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary for successfully working under pressure.
- Professional Engineer license is a plus.
