Deputy Director, HR Business Partner(6347)

Overview of Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Director, HR Business Partner to join our HR team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and driving organizational success. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices. TSMC is currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and enhance organizational performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Work with HR professionals providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Partner with departments to identify workforce needs and develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate organizational change and development initiatives to support growth and transformation.
  • Lead the resolution of complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in its HR practices.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnering and leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.       
  • Ability to travel (international and domestic) up to 10%-20% in a year.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in organizational development and change management at high tech industry is a plus.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an annual base salary between $142,000 and $210,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
