Overview of Role
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will oversee multiple product lines for key accounts, focusing on nurturing business and customer relationships. Reporting to the Director of Account Management, the ideal candidate will develop and implement strategic sales plans to ensure sustainable growth and enhance customer satisfaction. TSMC currently follows a hybrid work model, requiring four days in the office each week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture customer relationships at all levels, including executives, utilizing leadership and influencing skills to secure TSMC support
- Establish comprehensive pricing models for integrated products, encompassing silicon wafers, testing, and assembly/packaging costs
- Negotiate and deliver quotes to finalize sales, enhancing revenue and profitability
- Conduct strategic account calls and collaborate to develop technical and cost-effective solutions that align with customer needs and TSMC's objectives
- Work closely with the account team members and cross-functional teams to address business and technical challenges, ensuring account strategy alignment
- Drive demand generation activities, demand forecasting and order fulfillment
- Perform in-depth market and cost analysis to advise clients on optimal solutions
- Provide exceptional business analysis support to the Account Director and VP
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS in engineering or science
- 12+ years of combined experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Foundry Management in the semiconductor industry
- Good knowledge of advanced semiconductor technology, process, and operations, including test and product engineering
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills in writing and presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in reading financial statements
- Ability to travel (international and domestic) up to 15% per year
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical engineering degree with electives in Accounting, Economics or Finance
- Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductor design or process with experience working with product engineering and testing
- Experience in semiconductor backend packaging or process development/integration
- Ability to analyze financial data and summarize earnings calls
- Experience working with legal teams on business and technology contracts
- Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with customers
- Strong customer orientation and people skills
