AMHS Software Engineer - MFG

As an AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) Software Engineer, you will coordinate the install of the AMHS system and work with other groups to make sure it's performance is efficient and routing is optimized for lot movement between tools.

 

Coordinate daily planning for tool impacts; Key Project manager during install; coordiante system preventative maintenance and OD training; Stocker/Car/E84 connections. 

The ideal candidate will have interest and skills in working to optimize the movement of traffic between tools using software and hardware. Display teamwork and ‘can do’ attitude as well as positive outlook under high pressure. 

 

The role is designated for a M-F 8-5 shift, and is required to work 100% on-site.

 

The salary ranges for this position are outlined below:

 

Entry level salary range: $66,912 - $100,368

Mid-level salary range: $80,294 - $120,442

Senior level salary range: $92,647 - $148,236

 

The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • AMHS system software owner and maintenance.

  • OHT routing review and improvement

    • Managing system traffic for 150 vehicles and delivery to 200+ tools

  • Backup for AMHS Hardware Enineering position

  • Alarm KPI check

  • On-Duty Tech training (PM, troubleshooting)

  • Continuous improvement projects.

 

Requirements:  

  • All applicants must possess legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States, and the employer cannot provide sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
  • BS in engineering or technical field.

  • System introduction training in Taiwan possible, no other travel expected. 

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation.

  • Committed, attentive, positive, multi-tasking attitude, and ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment in PPE coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glass and gloves.

  • Previous or current AMHS experience preferred but not required.

  • 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in a mechanical, maintenance or manufacturing setting, working with electrical machinery, preventative maintenance, installation, and collaborative teams preferred but not required.
