Who We're Looking For:
As an Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) Technician, you will perform preventative and basic maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on stockers/devices and will be responsible for supporting a variety of AHMS items. Perform setup, calibration, failure analysis, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance duties on Stockers, vehicles, and multi-layer dummy load ports (MDLP), in a fast-paced clean room manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment (Stockers, MDLP, Vehicles)
- Work closely with Mechanical and software engineers for troubleshooting and recovery skills.
- Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures.
- Able to monitor AMHS system for abnormality and take action to prevent Fab impact.
- Able to learn AMHS system configuration to remove and add vehicles/devices during alarm and maintenance needs.
- Able to understand AMHS system to restart software interface in case of application malfunction.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong computer skills. (Understand Database will be preference)
- A strong ability to learn quickly. Needs to be team-oriented, self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude and/or experience.
- Demonstrate basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Able to use electronic and/or test equipment.
- Able to use tool manuals and follow established processes and procedures.
- Able to workday or night shift (12-hour shift structure).
- Need superb attention to detail and follow safety rules.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Associate degree or 3+ years industry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend majority of the shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting.
- Frequent coordinated use of hands
- Frequently reach, bend, lift, and carry up to 12 pounds, with potential to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently push/pull with a force of 10 pounds, occasionally requiring 5–30 pounds.
- Working in a fast-paced clean room manufacturing setting.

Work Location & Schedule:
This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location. Positions filled will work four 10 hour shifts on days (Mon-Thur and Tues to Fri). By end of 2025 position will change to a 4 on 3 off compressed 12-hour day or night shift. There may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.
Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $27.65 and $31.34 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $27.65 - $33.98 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
