EH&S Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer with ISO 45001 knowledge, audit and compliance experience, and familiarity with OSHA regulations for our semiconductor manufacturing site. The Safety Engineer will work with a team of EH&S professionals and be responsible for ensuring that the site complies with all relevant safety regulations and standards, conducting safety audits and inspections, and developing and implementing safety procedures and policies.

 

While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.

 

The salary ranges for this position are outlined below:

 

Entry level salary range: $66,912 - $100,368

Mid-level salary range: $80,294 - $120,442

Senior level salary range: $92,647 - $148,236

 

The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
  • Provide safety training to employees and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards, including ISO 45001 and OSHA/WISHA regulations
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement site-specific safety programs and initiatives
  • Maintain safety records and reports

  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, OSHA regulations, and manufacturing site safety rules
  • Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections
  • Experience in Health and Safety, semiconductor manufacturing a plus
