EH&S Engineer

We are seeking an applicant for an EH&S engineering position to help manage our environmental and hazardous waste programs for our semiconductor manufacturing site. The EH&S Engineer will work with a team of EH&S professionals who are responsible for ensuring that the site complies with all relevant environmental, health and safety regulations and internal requirements, conducting audits and inspections, and developing and implementing procedures and policies to improve the site’s environmental, health and safety performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement ESG and waste reduction programs and initiatives.
  • Manage hazardous waste including manifesting, shipping, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure existing programs are compliant with all applicable regulations and standards, including ISO 14001 and DOT regulations.
  • Conduct audits and inspections for compliance and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain records and reports.

  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001, hazardous waste regulations, and Washington State Dangerous Waste Rules preferred
  • Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, semiconductor manufacturing a plus

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement 
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $80,100 and $97,900 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience, and the position level.  TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
