Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an applicant for an EH&S engineering position to help manage our environmental, health and safety programs for our semiconductor manufacturing site in Camas, WA. The EHS Engineer will work with a team of EH&S professionals who are responsible for ensuring that the site complies with all relevant environmental, health and safety regulations and standards. Job responsibilities include conducting routine audits and inspections and developing and implementing procedures and programs to improve the site’s environmental, health, safety, and sustainability performance. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with ISO management systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Self-driven individuals with ownership of their responsibilities are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS programs
- Ensure existing programs are compliant with all applicable regulations and standards
- Conduct audits and inspections for compliance and to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain records and submit reports
- Conduct EHS training for employees and management
- Serve as a key resource for incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented
Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ISO 14001, 45001 management systems
- Familiarity with OSHA, Washington State Administrative Code, waste handling regulations, and semiconductor manufacturing regulatory requirements
- Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, semiconductor manufacturing
Personal Attributes:
- High sense of ownership and self-drive to achieve goals and tackle challenges
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for long periods, primarily while working at a desk
- Frequent use of a computer, which involves looking at screens for extended durations
- Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.
- Able to work on feet and walk the site to perform audits as needed

Work Location & Schedule:
This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm: however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.
Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $84,000.00 and $101,602.00 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $84,000.00 - $110,840.00 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
