As an Equipment Engineer you will have an opportunity for you to learn and support a variety of platforms and perform complex electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance duties on Fab equipment in our fast-paced, high-volume Semiconductor environment. This is a hands-on position where you will develop and study new skills for in-house parts repair Activities like troubleshooting, report writing, creating, and giving presentations, cost reduction activities, develop test fixtures to verify repair success, effective communication and problem-solving will be a regular component of this position. We are looking for a goal-oriented team player who is excited to work cross-functionally to solve problems.  

 

The salary ranges for this position are outlined below:

 

Entry level salary range: $66,912 - $100,368

Mid-level salary range: $80,294 - $120,442

Senior level salary range: $92,647 - $148,236

 

The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.

 

While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.

 

 Responsibilities include: 

  • Enhance in-house repair quality & capability, focused on electronics rebuilding.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to improve overall area/tool performance and meet quality and manufacturing goals.
  • Support Fab tools availability and improve cost savings.
  • Able to write rebuild procedures.
  • Support mechanical teams with other responsibilities as needed.
  • You may also be asked to carry a phone or pager for prompt response.
  • Requires occasional working in a clean room environment.

 

Requirements: 

  • All applicants must possess legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States, and the employer cannot provide sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
  • Must have direct experience in component level electronic repair for power supplies, PCB’s, RF match systems and/or robotics.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate electronic diagnostics equipment and read electrical schematics.

  • BS or MS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • Prefer 5+ years’ experience in semiconductor industry.
