As an Emergency Response Center (ERC) Officer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining the safety and security of our site. You'll achieve this through vigilant monitoring, proactive surveillance, meticulous access control, and ensuring strict adherence to our company policies. Your keen eye and quick thinking will be essential in protecting our premises, personnel, and assets. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Site Access Management: Oversee and control the entry and exit of all employees, visitors, and vehicles, verifying identification and maintaining accurate visitor logs in line with company protocols.
  • Surveillance & Monitoring: Continuously monitor CCTV systems and alarm platforms, swiftly identifying and responding to any breaches, unusual activities, or potential safety hazards.
  • Proactive Patrols: Conduct regular and randomized patrols, both on foot and via vehicle, across the entire facility to deter unauthorized activity and ensure security integrity.
  • Incident & Emergency Response: Act as the primary communication center for all alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, taking immediate and appropriate action to initiate measures to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
  • Detailed Reporting & Documentation: Prepare activity reports, incident logs, and other critical documentation for management review.
  • Policy Enforcement: Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures, clearly communicating requirements and addressing non-compliance when necessary.
  • Security System Integrity: Perform routine inspections of all security infrastructure, including doors, fences, and gates, and conduct regular testing of security systems and equipment. 

 

Requirements:

  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a security or monitoring role preferred.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in completing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Flexibility to work any shift.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 4-8 hours and to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Location & Schedule:

On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday–Friday. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $19.25 and $25.54 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $19.25 - $27.65 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
