As a diffusion equipment technician, you are responsible for working on Kokusai V3F/V3F2/V3J/V5S/V5SS furnaces, Disco DFG841 backside grinders, takatori ATM-1100E tapers, and rudolph focus ellipsometers in the diffusion equipment section. This work includes preventative maintenance and troubleshooting duties on semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This is a fast paced manufacturing environment in a clean room setting. You should be flexible to work any shift on a compressed 12-hour shift structure.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on KE V3/V5 furnace, Disco backside grinders, Takatori taper/detaper, and rudolph ellipsometer.
- Identification, recording, and escalation of any problems related to the equipment, process, or product.
- Part rebuild; Including valves, cable builds, and PCB component replacement.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical skill/experience.
- Strong computer skills.

- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety rules.
- Good electrical and mechanical trouble shooting skills.
- Able to understand and use electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Able to use manuals and established procedures and operating instructions.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
- Able to work day or night shift (12 hour compressed shift structure).
- Able to certify and fit test for APR/Airline respirator
- Prior experience on kokusai furnace preferred
- Prior hands-on experience maintaining household applicances, industrial machines, or automotive systems preferred. d.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend majority of shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting.
- Frequent coordinated use of hands.
- Lift and or carry up to 56 pounds.
- Pushing or pulling 66 pounds.
- Occasionally reach, bend forward while standing, or squat.

Work Location & Schedule:
This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next. This position will potentially be for night shift.
Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $27.30 and $36.29 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $27.30 - $39.30 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
