Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written procedures
  • Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
  • Support the equipment section with other responsibilities as needed
  • Become certified on a variety of tool types
  • Work with counterparts within engineering department and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goals
  • Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures.

 

Requirements: 

Minimum Requirement:

  • Maintenance and repair of complex electronic and mechanical systems. 
  •  Analyze tool performance data to detect problems and suggest improvements.
  • Attention to detail and strong quality of workmanship imperative 
  •  Communication within your team and cooperation with MFG and Process to ensure no interruption to production
  •  Great Work Ethic and ability to pick up on new things.
  •  Multitasking and handling stressful environments with ability to juggle multiple items and requests.
  • Mechanical and equipment troubleshooting related experience encouraged: Automotive, Home Appliance Repair, Electrical work all accepted

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to spend majority of shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting.
  • Frequent coordinated use of hands.
  • Lift and or carry up to 56 pounds.
  • Pushing or pulling 66 pounds.
  • Occasionally reach, bend forward while standing, or squat.

  • To be eligible for employment at TSMC, candidates must successfully pass a background check and a drug screening. Please note, in compliance with Washington state regulations, the drug screen will not test for cannabis (marijuana) use.

Work Location & Schedule: 

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location. The role is usually designated for a compressed work week schedule of 12-hour day or night shifts, where the employee works for 3 days one week and 4 days the following week and is required to work 100% on-site.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $27.65 and $31.35 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $27.65 and $33.98 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
