Who We're Looking For:
As an IHR Equipment Technician you will support a hands-on position for mechanical activities such as valve and pump rebuilding. You may also work on tool troubleshooting, supporting cost reduction activities, developing fixtures, effective communication and problem-solving. We are looking for a goal-oriented team player who is excited to work cross-functionally to solve problems.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Enhance in-house repair quality & capability, focused on mechanical.
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve overall area/tool performance and meet quality and manufacturing goals.
- Support Fab tools availability and improve cost savings.
- Support rebuilding of various mechanical assemblies.
- You may also be asked to carry a phone or pager for prompt response.
- Requires occasional working in a clean room environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Prefer to have direct experience working on turbo, dry, and cryogenic pump repair.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate mechanical equipment and read technical drawings.
- Must have an associate’s degree or 4+ year direct mechanical experience.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend majority of shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting.
- Frequent coordinated use of hands.
- Lift and or carry up to 56 pounds.
- Pushing or pulling 66 pounds.
- Occasionally reach, bend forward while standing, or squat.

To be eligible for employment at TSMC, candidates must successfully pass a background check and a drug screening. Please note, in compliance with Washington state regulations, the drug screen will not test for cannabis (marijuana) use.
Work Location & Schedule:
This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location. The role is usually designated for a Monday through Friday 8am till 5pm 8-hour work week shift and is required to work 100% on-site. Ther is a potential for it to eventually change to 4 days at 10hrs Tuesday through Friday.
Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $27.65 and $31.34 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $27.65 - $33.98 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
