Responsibilities included:

Responsible for performing complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on assigned production equipment in the Etch section of semiconductor manufacturing facility.  Responsibilities include:  1) working closely with Manufacturing, module engineers, and technicians to improve overall area/tool performance and meet quality and manufacturing goals; 2) performing basic to complex tool repairs according to equipment Operating Instructions (OIs) and/or Best Known Methods (BKMs); 3) becoming fully certified on tools of responsibility, progressing in capability to become tool owner; 4) reviewing spare parts usage and recommending inventory changes; 5) supporting area with other responsibilities as needed.

 

Requirements:

Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and two (2) years of senior level Etch Equipment Engineering experience in a semiconductor manufacturing facility, or Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and five (5) years of senior level Etch  Equipment Engineering experience in a semiconductor manufacturing facility.  Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.

Work Location & Schedule:

On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm. Additional hours may be required.

 

Eligibility:

  • Employment contingent on background check and drug screening (excludes cannabis).

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary and position placement will be determined based on an individual’s education, experience, and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities. Candidates will be assigned to the appropriate job level, with the corresponding salary range:

•     Principal Level: $123,000 – $163,702 per year.

 

TSMC's total compensation package also includes profit sharing and incentive bonuses, tuition assistance, and accrue 120 hours of paid time off annually their first year.
