Process Engineer - Photo

As a Process Engineer in our Photo department, you will be working in a very dynamic environment with wide job scopes including leading technology and product transfer from TSMC Fabs, working with process module engineers to sustain and improve process performance, sustain photo process operation in a fast-paced semiconductor environment, while interacting with customers to provide technical supports. This is an exempt level position where additional work hours may be requested at times and the position requires carrying a pager and response swiftly. 

 

While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.

 

The salary ranges for this position are outlined below:

 

Entry level salary range: $66,912 - $100,368

Mid-level salary range: $80,294 - $120,442

Senior level salary range: $92,647 - $148,236

 

The final offered salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.

 

 

 Responsibilities include: 

  • Sustain daily photo process production operation which includes but is not limited to;

                    - troubleshoot basic tool issues and make decisions based on effective data analysis,

                    - process monitor for SPC trends and provide support for abnormal events, and

                    - defect/yield improvement case management.

  • New process qualification and tool release.

 

Requirements: 

  • All applicants must possess legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States, and the employer cannot provide sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
  • BS or MS in Chemical/Electrical/Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics
  • Direct working experience in the application process of ASML scanners/steppers (PAS 5500) is perferred
  • Strong knowledge in photolithography process, mask operations, and equipment in semiconductor manufacturing is perferred
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as JMP and design of experiment (DOE) preferred
  • Demonstrate capability in process improvement, SPC, defect reduction
