Production Specialist

TSMC Washington is recruiting Production Specialists for a start date in June of 2024.  As a Production Specialist you will be carrying wafers in small containers called pods throughout the production area to ensure production targets are met.  You will be working in a clean room environment wearing clean room garments to protect the wafers from outside particles. Clean room garments include a full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and a mask. This is a physically demanding job requiring lifting, bending and long periods of standing and walking over a 12-hour shift.  You could be walking up to 12 miles per shift.  

Shifts:

TSMC Washington operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The shift structure is 4 days on/3 days off one week and 3 days on/4 days off the following week. Yep, that’s 3 or 4 days off every week!  TSMC Washington also provides 2 hours of meals and breaks for each 12-hour shift.

Requirements: 

• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with or without a reasonable accommodation. Regular attendance and reliability for this position is critical.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for a 12-hour shift & capable of lifting up to 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Experience in a fast-paced team environment and production environment is preferred (ex: fast food, restaurant, warehouse, manufacturing)
• Work in a clean room environment with proper clean room garments (full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and mask)
• Stable work history
• Demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust

GREAT PAY AND BENEFITS:

• Starting base pay is $21.00  The salary range for this position is $19.15 - $25.85.

             - $22.50 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for day shift.

             - $26.11 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for night shift.
