Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our EH&S team at our semiconductor manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the site complies with all relevant safety regulations and standards, conducting comprehensive audits and inspections, and developing robust safety procedures and policies.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Collaborate with a team of EH&S professionals to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop, implement, and manage site-wide safety policies and procedures.
- Provide safety training to employees and contractors
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards, including ISO 45001 and OSHA/WISHA regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement site-specific safety programs and initiatives
- Maintain safety records and reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 standards
- Strong familiarity with OSHA regulations pertaining to manufacturing and construction
- Proven experience in safety auditing and compliance
- Experience in Health and Safety in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for long periods, primarily while working at a desk
- Frequent use of a computer, which involves looking at screens for extended durations
- Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.
- Able to work on feet and walk the site to perform audits as needed

Work Location & Schedule:
This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm: however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.
Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $92,220.00 and $124,664.00 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $92,220.00 - $135,480.00 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
* This position is also eligible for a Sign-On Bonus depending on various factors.
* This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.
