TSMC Washington Production Specialist Hiring Event

TSMC Washington will be having an on-site career hiring event where we will be seeking to hire entry level Production Specialist!  Production Specialist will be the only position we are hiring for at this career event.  Doors will open at 11am and close at 2pm sharp.

Who We're Looking For:

TSMC Washington is recruiting Production Specialists to work on-site at our Camas, Washington location.  As a Production Specialist you will be carrying wafers in small containers called pods throughout the production area to ensure production targets are met.  You will be working in a clean room environment wearing clean room garments to protect the wafers from outside particles. Clean room garments include a full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and a mask. This is a physically demanding job requiring lifting, bending and long periods of standing and walking over a 12-hour shift.  You could be walking up to 12 miles per shift.  

Shifts:

TSMC Washington operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The shift structure is 4 days on/3 days off one week and 3 days on/4 days off the following week. Yep, that’s 3 or 4 days off every week!  TSMC Washington also provides 2 hours of meals and breaks for each 12-hour shift.

Requirements: 

• Experience in a fast-paced team environment and production environment is preferred (ex: fast food, restaurant, warehouse, manufacturing)
• Stable work history
• Demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust
• Be a strong team player with a can-do attitude
• Good time management skills with the ability to adjust priorities as needed
• Good communication and computer skills
• Have situational awareness and be safety conscious
• Pass the interview process which includes a reading comprehension test

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Work in a clean room environment with proper clean room garments (full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and mask)

• Be able to lift, bend, sit or stand for long periods.  Able to walk and/or stand over a 12-hour shift.  You could be walking up to 12 miles per shift.  

• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with or without a reasonable accommodation. Regular attendance and reliability for this position is critical.

GREAT PAY AND BENEFITS:

• Starting base pay is $21.00  The salary range for this position is $19.15 - $25.85.

             - $22.50 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for day shift.

             - $26.11 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for night shift.
