We are seeking an exceptional Yield Enhancement Manager to drive critical yield improvements and lead a high-performing team within working within the PIE department.This pivotal role is not just about improvement; it's about establishing an impenetrable defense against yield detractors and driving relentless progress. You will lead a high-performing team on the front lines, ensuring the absolute highest quality and efficiency 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Strategic Yield Improvement: Lead comprehensive data analysis from wafers to precisely identify the root causes of defects, implementing swift and effective corrective actions to maximize output.
  • Process Integration Leadership: Spearhead collaboration with Module Engineering and Process Integration teams to significantly enhance module-level and wafer-level productivity and performance.
  • Advanced Defect Defense: Architect and establish robust mechanisms to guarantee the uncompromising quality, pattern performance, and defect control of critical EUV/DUV photomasks.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and empower a world-class team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring seamless 24/7 operational efficiency.
  • Insightful Data Analysis: Leverage advanced data analysis tools and methodologies to meticulously analyze daily Wafer Acceptance Testing (WAT) data and critical process signals, transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Technology Ramp & Transfer: Play a crucial role in ramping up new, advanced technology nodes and facilitating the efficient transfer of groundbreaking process technologies.

 

Requirements: 

  • Master's or PhD  degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or other relevant technical fields.
  • 10+ proven, substantial experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a strong focus on yield enhancement, defect reduction, or process integration.
  • Deep and comprehensive knowledge of IC processing, wafer defectivity mechanisms, and advanced yield improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, exceptional communication, and superior cross-functional collaboration skills, essential for working effectively with diverse engineering teams and global headquarters.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that often involves managing complex 24/7 operations.

Work Location & Schedule:

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $127,715 and $184,939 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $127,715 - $204,015 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.

* This position is also eligible for a Sign-On Bonus depending on various factors.

* This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.
