Job Summary: The JASM HR Operation Manager will serve as a pivotal strategic partner to the JASM leadership team. This individual will be accountable for the comprehensive development, implementation, and oversight of all Human Resources functions. This role demands a dynamic and experienced HR leader with a proven track record in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. Prior experience within a multinational corporation and/or a joint venture is highly preferred.
The role will be responsible for:
- Building and leading a high-performing HR team, fostering their professional development and ensuring operational excellence.
- Establishing and continuously refining robust HR policies, programs, and procedures that are compliant with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Championing an engaging, inclusive, and productive work environment that directly supports JASM's strategic business objectives and core values.
- Effectively collaborating and aligning with global HR functions to ensure consistency in overarching HR strategies, leverage shared resources, and facilitate seamless cross-cultural HR initiatives. This includes active participation in global HR discussions and the localization of global policies where appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- HR Leadership Experience: 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 7 years in a senior HR leadership role (e.g., HR Director, Head of HR). Demonstrated strong analytical skills and experience using HR metrics to drive business results.
- Industry & Global HR Experience: Proven experience leading HR within a large-scale manufacturing environment (preferably semiconductor or high-tech), including demonstrated experience in a multinational company and/or joint venture setting.
- Key HR Disciplines Expertise: Strong expertise in at least three core HR disciplines, such as talent acquisition, talent management, compensation & benefits, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Leadership & Adaptability: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, coupled with a strong growth mindset, learning agility, and flexibility.
- Stakeholder Influence: Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Japanese Labor Law: In-depth knowledge of Japanese labor law, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Bilingual Fluency: Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English.
