JASM - Employee Experience - PIP (Proprietary Information Protection) Principal Engineer(5399)

Responsibilities

(Immediately after hiring)

  • Following corporate data protection policy, oversee readiness and effectiveness of data protection measures.
  • Set up oversea site data protection platform and organizational infrastructure (working team) to ensure data protection execution.
  • Design and Implement data protection solutions and campaigns.
  • Data protection daily operations (data protection issues handling, external audit, training, promotion, compliance checks, etc.)
  • Data protection local first-line investigation and consequence management execution (collaborating with HR, Legal and IT, and in line with corporate data protection)
  • Lead or collaborate with physical security team (security guard) to execute PIP policy
  • Implement and enforce information security policy, process, standards, and guideline based on the industry standards such as ISO27001 and ISO15408; and business requirements.
  • Solution design for secured perimeters.
  • Lead data protection and physical security enhancement programs.
  • Provide consultancy to internal organizations by a) assessing their information security issues, concerns, and potential risks, and b) providing cost efficient security enhancement solutions.
  • Improve information security awareness by designing and conducting training session, workshop, and promotion events.
  • Conduct information security compliance review and check.
  • Data protection violation case investigation and consequence management.

There is a reassignment to the work specified by the Company.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Familiar with data protection rules, policy, and implementation.  
  • At least 3 years team management experience. 
  • At least 5 years work experience in information security field. 
  • At least 2 years work experience in Japan. 
  • Strong information security knowledge, risk assessment and project management skills.  
  • Good communication and change management skills, able to work cross-organizations, including internal and external partners.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented without losing the big picture, cooperative and self-motivated
  • Good in spoken both Japanese, English
  • Good independent judgment, proactive, quick learning and responsive.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Information security certification (i.e., CISSP, CISA, CISM,) is plus 
  • Mandarin Chinese speaking is a plus

  1. Location - (Immediately after hiring) 4106-1 Haramizu, Kikuyou-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto, 869-1102  (Scope of Change) Location determined by the Company
  2. Working Days & Hours - 8:30~17:30
  3.
