JASM - Finance - Accounting Manager (4092)
Responsibilities
(Immediately after hiring)
- To supervise daily operations of general accounting affairs, including but not limited to monthly closing, payment, fixed assets management, receivables, etc.
- To initiate or co-work with other departments to draft accounting related processes and procedures
- To review contract from accounting’s perspective
- To prepare monthly management report, quarterly package and ad-hoc analysis preparation
- To support SAP implementation and related system or functional upgrade
- To co-work with HQ accounting colleagues to analyze IFRS rules and compliance, and to analyze GAAP differences between IFRS and Japan GAAP
- To assist with the application of subsidy and incentive programs and take initiatives to communicate/negotiate with government officers
- To assist with external financial or government required audits and internal control audits
- To conduct tax planning and analysis and be the contact window with HQ tax expert and external tax consultant
(Scope of change)There is a reassignment to the work specified by the Company
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with minimum 10 years of related accounting experience
- Knowledge of J-GAAP and IFRS
- Ability to handle high volumes of work accurately and in a timely manner
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills and detail oriented
- Be flexible to reach win-win results
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong team player and work independently
- To be able to responsibly complete tasks on time
- Native in Japanese, good in English
- PC skills (Excel, PPT, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding in Chinese will be a plus
- Experienced in multinational company is preferred

- Location - (Immediately after hiring) 4106-1 Haramizu, Kikuyou-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto, 869-1102 (Scope of Change) Location determined by the Company
- Working Days & Hours - 8:30~17:30
