JASM - Finance - Finance Manager (5407)
Responsibilities
(Immediately after hiring)
The candidate will be placed under the CFO and lead the finance department with responsibilities including:
- Directing and monitoring all financial activity within the organization.
- Managing liquidity of the company, ensuring access to cash and sources of credit.
- Deepening investor, government, and bank client relationships.
- Capturing foreign currency exposures and evaluate appropriate hedging treatment.
- Overseeing insurance and risk management.
- Partnering with key stakeholders across finance, corporate accounting, tax, and legal.
- Leading a growing finance department, including hiring, training, and retaining staff.
- Ensuring full compliance on company policies and statutory requirement relate to finance.
- Handle special projects assigned and collaborate with corresponding teams.
(Scope of change)
There is a reassignment to the work specified by the Company.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in finance, economics, accounting, business, or related major is required.
- MBA or a Master’s in finance is a plus.
- 15+ years of working experience in finance and 3 years with a multinational company (B to B company) preferred: successful record of managing financial groups.
- Self-motivated with an innately curious personality and a desire to learn.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be a good team player.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in fast-pace working environment.
- Excellent Japanese language proficiency
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with good oral and written ability in either English or Mandarin.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs) are preferred.
- Working experience in banking, investing, or accounting is a plus.

- Location - (Immediately after hiring) 4106-1 Haramizu, Kikuyou-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto, 869-1102 (Scope of Change) Location determined by the Company
- Working Days & Hours - 8:30~17:30
