JASM HR_Mobility Specialist

Role Overview

The JASM HR Mobility team is looking for a passionate, strategically-minded, and highly execution-driven HR Mobility Specialist to join our team.  
In this role, you will be more than just a facilitator of relocation and assignment processes; you will be a key architect of overall policy design, continuous process optimization, and global project management. 
You will champion the end-to-end relocation strategy, driving operational efficiency through budget control, strategic vendor management, and system optimization.
Leveraging your multilingual and professional capabilities, you will collaborate closely with diverse global stakeholders across functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Relocation Strategy Planning & Project Budget Management
  • Process Optimization & Standardization: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to lead and evaluate current assignment plans. Identify bottlenecks, propose concrete continuous improvement plans, and establish SOPs to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Project & Timeline Management: Direct the comprehensive planning, timeline control, and risk assessment of international relocations, ensuring both large-scale and individual moves are executed on time and in full compliance.
  • Budget & Vendor Control: Oversee mobility project budgets and expenses, effectively managing and evaluating vendor performance to ensure maximum cost-effectiveness and value.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and maintain key mobility KPIs. Conduct regular data analysis and trend forecasting to provide management with actionable insights for policy optimization and resource allocation.

 

2. Consultation Framework & Employee Experience
  • Framework Optimization: Establish and refine consultation and support mechanisms for Assignees/Trainees, ensuring they receive timely, professional, and empathetic care throughout their assignment lifecycle.
  • Policy Promotion & Enablement: Organize and prepare relocation briefings to promote company benefits and mobility policies. Compile and maintain resource guides to help employees and their families transition smoothly into new environment.

 

3. Strategic Vendor Management & Foster Strong Partnership
  • Vendor Performance Evaluation : Manage relationships with relocation vendors, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Negotiation & Cost Control: Participate in vendor contract negotiations and service scope definitions to maximize resource utilization and practice robust cost control without compromising service quality.

 

4. Resources Integration & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate key logistics resources for individual or group onboarding to ensure smooth and compliant relocations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between cross-border teams to resolve relocation issues and proactively mitigate compliance and operational risks.

 Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Work Experience:
   Have at least 5 years of work experience in Human Resources or process management in large enterprises.
   Have practical experience in Human Resources, with experience in budget control, employee relocation (Relocation) or assignment management being a plus.
• Professional Skills:
   Possess excellent organizational planning, detail management, and project execution abilities.
   Experience in vendor collaboration and management is a plus.
   Proficient in operating Microsoft Office software; advanced Excel skills (such as data processing and analysis) and PowerPoint presentation creation are preferred.
• Soft Skills:
   Possess high patience, excellent communication and coordination skills, and interpersonal interaction abilities.
   Have a keen sense for numbers, with a meticulous and responsible work attitude.
• Language Ability:
   Proficiency in both Mandarin and Japanese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) is a must.
   Candidates with good English communication and writing abilities will be given priority.

・ (Scope of Change) At locations as defined by the company.

Workdays/Hours:
・ 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

Holidays/Leave:
・ Weekends and public holidays off.
・ Leave: Golden Week, summer vacation, year-end and New Year holidays (in accordance with the company calendar).
