JASM - Legal -Attorney (5646)
Responsibilities
(Immediately after hiring)
TSMC/JASM welcomes a person who is willing to support its projects to build a new fab in Kumamoto in Japan as a member of the legal team. Major responsibilities include:
-Contract negotiation with Japanese and international companies. (Contracts include Japanese contracts and English contracts.)
-Corporate governance and compliance related matters.
-Management and collaboration with outside counsels.
(Scope of change)
There is a reassignment to the work specified by the Company.
Minimum Qualifications
-Minimum 3 years of legal experience in law firm or in-house legal department of major companies (manufacturing, trading, construction or engineering company preferred).
-Self-motivated with good communication skill: a person who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and is able to find solutions and move projects forward with minimum supervision.
-Japanese and English language skill: being able to communicate in English with international colleagues is an essential skill for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
-Law degree in Japan and qualified for practicing law in Japan or USA.

-The work location for this position is in JASM/Kumamoto.
-A candidate who is willing to contribute to the projects based on the spirit of “Teach each other, lean from each other” is welcomed.
