JASM - PED - Security Manager (7201)

Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing, Inc. (JASM) is a subsidiary established in Kumamoto Prefecture. TSMC is a majority shareholder of JASM, whereas Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation, Denso Corporation, and Toyota Motor Corporation are minority shareholders. JASM is TSMC's first manufacturing facility in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. It was established to meet the strong global demand for semiconductors. By supporting our customers with the highest standard of specialty semiconductor technologies, JASM works to promote innovation in all Japanese industrial sectors, including automotive and image sensors, and thereby contribute to the revitalization of the Japanese economy.

 

(Upon Hiring)

・ Plan, operate, and improve security measures compliant with TSMC policies, laws, and industry best practices.
・ Implement and manage security equipment such as CCTV, access control systems, X-ray machines, metal detectors, and infrared sensors, and oversee their efficient and safe operation.
・ Appropriately manage the entry of visitors and vehicles to reduce risk.
・ Monitor prohibited items, verify items during removal, and reduce risks of leakage, theft, and loss of TSMC assets and information.
・ Develop and implement safe and smooth operation procedures for parking areas.
・ Establish and implement emergency response measures, facility security plans, and crisis management procedures to protect employee safety and property.
・ Build and maintain relationships with police and security-related agencies, and establish and implement emergency response systems that align company policies with legal requirements.
・ Develop and operate security policies aimed at internal investigations, executive safety, workplace violence prevention, confidential information management, theft prevention, and asset management.
・ Manage security-related budgets, personnel allocation, and resource planning, and execute cost-efficient strategies.
・ Measure the effectiveness of security services and report to management using performance indicators (KPI/OKR).
・ Develop, implement, and periodically review security programs to protect employees, partners, visitors, and confidential information.
・ Provide necessary security measures for VIP visits and visits from customers or government officials.
・ Conduct risk assessments and security audits, implement improvement measures to enhance safety, and reduce risks.
・ Oversee the recruitment, training, guidance, and management of security staff (including monitoring centers and reception areas) and ensure smooth operations in monitoring, access control, and emergency response.
・ Collaborate with risk management teams and emergency response centers to develop and oversee crisis management, disaster response, and business continuity plans.

(Scope of Change)

Required Qualifications

・ Knowledge of information security, risk assessment, and project management skills.
・ Communication and change management skills to enable cross-organizational collaboration with internal and external partners.
・ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to focus on details while maintaining an overall perspective.
・ Self-motivated decision-making ability, proactive attitude, high learning capability, and quick responsiveness to tasks.
・ Always respect others' opinions and perform duties with humility under all circumstances.
・ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), particularly:
   ・ Data Analysis: Aggregating and analyzing data using Excel and leveraging functions.
   ・ Presentation Creation: Creating effective presentation materials using PowerPoint.
   ・ Document Preparation: Preparing accurate and efficient reports and formatting documents using Word.
・ University graduate (preferably in IT-related fields).
・ Japanese: Native level, English: Business level.
・ At least 3 years of team management experience (teams of 5 or more preferred).
・ Over 5 years of practical experience in the field of information security.
・ At least 2 years of work experience in Japan.

 

Preferred Qualifications

・ Information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM) are preferred.
・ Proficiency in Chinese (Taiwanese preferred).
・ Work experience in a foreign company (especially in the manufacturing industry) is preferred.Employment Conditions

・ Workdays/Hours:
・ 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
