JASM_HR_Total Reward (TR) Payroll Specialist
Job Responsibility:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance with JP laws, and timely execution.
- Manage statutory deductions related to JP social insurance, labor insurance, and income tax, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors to ensure service quality and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for payroll process optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. Finance, IT, HQ HR) to resolve payroll-related issues effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience handling JP payroll.
- In-depth knowledge of JP payroll, tax, social insurance and related law
- Fluent in Japanese and conversational level English. Fluent Chinese is a strong plus.
- Practical experience with payroll systems (e.g. Company) is a strong plus.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and effectively manage multiple responsibilities while addressing day-to-day challenges.
- High learning agility with good logic, flexible for changes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Aggressive, willing to take initiative and follow-through to deliver quality results with strong attention to details.
Working Condition
1. Location - (Immediately after hiring) 4106-1 Haramizu, Kikuyou-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto, 869-1102 (Scope of Change) Location determined by the Company
2. Working Days & Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30~17:30)
3. Commuting allowance: Actual expenses (maximum 50,000 yen/month), Overtime Pay.
4. Holiday - Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays, Vacation regulations:GW vacation, Year-end and New Year vacations
