Regional Warehouse & Waste ーWarehouse Engineerー

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Logistics Planning & Management: Plan, improve, and manage personnel for the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of semiconductor materials.
  2. Space Optimization: Plan and execute initiatives to optimize warehouse space and improve overall efficiency.
  3. Data Analysis & Improvement: Analyze warehouse operation data, propose continuous improvement plans, and execute them.
  4. Equipment Maintenance & Upgrades: Plan and execute projects for the expansion, modification, and repair of warehouse equipment.
  5. Health & Safety: Plan and implement improvements related to occupational health and safety (EHS).
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate and negotiate effectively with other departments and external suppliers.
  7. New Plant Startup: Support and execute tasks related to the launch and startup of the new factory.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in warehousing or logistics.
  2. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound, timely decisions.
  3. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  5. High sense of responsibility, proactivity, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  6. Basic communication skills in English or Chinese (Note: English is frequently used for internal documentation).
  7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in people management or leadership (for managing and supervising on-site staff).
  2. Experience using SAP, ERP, or WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  3. Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards in factory and warehouse environments.
  4. Basic knowledge of integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing or the semiconductor industry.

Working Conditions

  • Work Location: (Upon employment) 4106-1 Oaza Harami, Kikuyo-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto 869-1102 (Scope of Change: Locations as defined by the company).
  • Work Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
