2025/2026 - Memory Circuit Design Intern (6913)
Overview of Role
TSMC Canada has openings for two (2) extended Internship placements (6–12 months) in Memory Circuit Design. You will join a leading-edge SRAM design team, within TSMC R&D. As an Intern, you will be assigned a defined project, and have the chance to learn and work alongside a diversified team who do research and design on the world’s most advanced CMOS/FinFET processes. This will involve detailed implementation of high speed and high-density memory circuits. One can expect these designs to be eventually used in mainstream products, and not just be an academic exercise. Depending on your skill and ability to learn, your mandate may be extended appropriately.
Qualifications
- Working on a researched based master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Semiconductors (Circuit Design experience is required)
- Strong motivation to establish career in silicon chip design area using advanced technologies
- Zealous in learning, problem-solving and attention to detail
- Strong ownership and commitment to assignment and project schedule
- Self-motivated and ability to easily collaborate with others
- Strong Listening/Understanding/Responding skills
- Fluent in English (mandatory) with impressive presentation skills
- Enthusiasm and participation in team activities
- Mature, confident and ability to work independently
- You have immmigration status that supports full-time work in an Intern role
