We're hiring talented individuals for Process Technicians (PT), Manufacturing Specialists (MS), EBO/Mask Reticle Technicians (EBO), Equipment Technicians (ET), and Facilities Technicians (FAC) at our cutting-edge 4-nanometer fab in Phoenix, Arizona. These positions may be full-time temporary/contract positions as a TSMC employee. Candidates will go through rigorous training anywhere from 2-4 months depending on training progress and business needs. The training schedule could vary from regular shift hours of M-F 9am-6pm and/or compressed schedule compressed work week assignment (3/4 - 4/3 rotating shift schedule, 12 hour shifts (which can include night shifts)), based on trainer availability. Selected candidates will be provided the opportunity to extend their training contracts or accept an offer to convert to a non-temporary, direct TSMC employee, depending on performance, compliance with company policies, training progress, and business needs.

Open Positions:
Process Technician (PT)
Work in an office-based or cleanroom environment to monitor wafer manufacturing processes, analyze data, and address production alarms. Responsibilities include SOP adherence, process flow analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma required; AAS Degree or Technical Certificate preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work compressed work week schedules (12-hour shifts, day/night rotation).
Manufacturing Specialist (MS)
Operate intelligent systems in our Manufacturing Command Center and support cleanroom processes. Ensure automated tools function properly and address abnormal production events.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a compressed schedule and adapt to cleanroom environments.
EBO/Mask Reticle Technician (EBO)
Monitor and troubleshoot mask manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities include process analysis, tool monitoring, issue escalation, and collaborative teamwork.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and computer skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a team rotation within mask reticle modules.
Equipment Technician (ET)
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment errors, and improve semiconductor tool efficiency. Responsibilities include reviewing SPC charts, defect troubleshooting, and spare parts management.
Key Requirements:
- Entry-level machine maintenance experience required.
- Ability to work on the factory floor in cleanroom attire for most of the shift.
- Willingness to work 12-hour compressed work week schedules, including night shifts.
Facilities Technicians (FAC)
Support critical fab operations through specialized roles, including:
- Gas & Chemical Technicians: Operate and maintain chemical/gas systems.
- Water Technicians: Manage ultrapure water and industrial waste systems.
- Mechanical Technicians: Maintain HVAC systems, cleanroom air handling, and industrial exhaust equipment.
- Instrumentation & Controls Technicians: Calibrate PLC/SCADA systems and troubleshoot low-voltage automation devices.
- Electrical Technicians: Operate and maintain electrical systems up to 230kV, including switchgear and generators.
Key Requirements for All FAC Roles:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in relevant industrial environments preferred.
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors, lift heavy objects, and adhere to safety regulations.
Work Schedule:
- Training: 2–12 months, including on-the-job training, SOP learning, and hands-on practice.
- Shifts: Compressed work week schedules (12-hour shifts, day or night) with potential overtime.
