TSMC Arizona is looking for a Facility Hookup 3D Technician to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a Facility Hookup 3D Engineer, you will create and coordinate three-dimensional models for each Hookup system including Gas, PCW, tool accessory, rack, PPL. drain, chemical, power, exhaust, PV. etc. And who will be responsible for managing 3D element modeled by trade partners, interpreting tool needs and spacing-requirement, and developing high-quality 3D models for design drawings, tool installation survey and construction.
Job Description:
- Create high-quality 3D models using software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo.
- Coordinate with the local trade and equipment engineers to ensure the models meet tool requirements.
- Ensure all models are in a good quality avoiding any clashes between utility system and neighboring tools.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in 3D modeling.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues with models as they arise.
- Working kowledge of space rules for Hookup and Utility systems
- Collaborate with construction trade partner to solve and prevent clash issues when pre-hookup survey.
- Reviews contractors’ work and control quality.
- Documents and maintains accurate records of the revisioning drawings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Architectural Engineering related fields.
- Basic knowledge of BIM software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Dynamo is a plus. CAD certification is needed
- Previous design related work experience, preferred experience with building and piping design
- Semiconductor factory building experience is a plus
- Basic mechanical-related knowledge and knowledge of semiconductor processes are a plus.
- The ability to troubleshoot complex problems and to own the efforts to address and resolve root causes.
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses and gloves.
- Team building, Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other trade partners, supervisors, engineers, and managers.
- Effective written, verbal, presentation, and listening communications skills.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed for business purposes, or to be called-in to work in the event of emergency or business needs.
- Fluent in English speaking and writing.
- Bi-lingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred, but not required
