AMHS Technician, Semiconductor

We are looking for AMHS Handling System Technicians to join our upcoming 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix, Arizona. You will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability, enthusiasm, and will possess an attitude that embodies TSMC’s core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures.
  • Recover tool condition from regular maintain or trouble shooting to provide high quality production line.
  • Oversee AMHS device installation and qualification testing
  • Sustain and improve the performance of AMHS devices in cleanroom environment
  • Conduct hand-carry of wafers when necessary
  • Work in a start up business culture

 

Qualifications:

  • AAS or Technical Degree or STEM program preferred
  • Previous or current AMHS experience preferred.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a mechanical, maintenance or manufacturing setting, working with electrical machinery, preventative maintenance, installation, and collaborative teams
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation.
  • Ability to work under a compressed work-week schedule, days or nights
  • Committed, attentive, positive, multi-tasking attitude, and ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment in PPE coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glass and gloves.

 

Minimum physical demands:

  • Carrying ladders from On duty area to area that needs work
  • Ability to reach above shoulder level and move a FOUP from a storage location to a cart, up to 40 lbs in weight.
  • Extend arms above shoulder level for extended periods of time to install/move barcodes, E84 heads, and other AMHS material.  
  • Work in a confined space (less than 4 feet) to recover vehicles at the AMHS highway level.
  • Work requires movement on hands and knees, to include bending, stooping, walking over periods of time
