TSMC Arizona is looking for a US Import/Export Compliance Specialist

  • Job Specification
    • Responsible for handling the import and export of semiconductor related products across international borders.
  • Responsibilities
    • Managing customs broker & US customs clearance procedures for semiconductor related products and components.
    • Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and laws in different countries.
    • Preparing and submitting necessary documentation for import and export of semiconductor related products.
    • Calculating and managing import and export duties and taxes.
    • HTS Classification Management.
    • Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations & requirement.
    • Provide support to the logistics team on customs-related matter and resolve any compliance issue on all shipments.
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant compliance laws and regulations.
    • Monitor and report on customs compliance metrics to management.
    • Keeping up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and laws in different countries.
    • Providing advice and guidance to customers and suppliers on customs compliance issues.
    • Maintaining accurate records of import and export activities.
    • Participating in the development of policies and procedures related to customs compliance.
  • Qualification
    • Bachelor degree is required, candidates must obtain a license from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
    • 3 or plus years prior experience in customs brokerage, trade agreements, AD/CVD are required, experience in semiconductor industry and the associated regulations is a plus.
    • Familiar with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
    • Experience with FTZ regulations and processes is a plus.
