Position Summary:

The Arizona Site Security Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive site security plan that aligns with corporate Proprietary Information Protection (PIP) policies. The role ensures the safety and security of employees, contractors, visitors, and customers at our 24/7 manufacturing site, which includes multiple posts, access controls, and CCTV system. This highly visible position, in a new site, with a high likelihood of additional facility expansion, will provide both tactical management and strategic direction to both in house and  outsourced security teams. The role involves close collaboration with our global security, PIP, cybersecurity, and legal teams, as well as external agencies to address evolving security challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement site security policies, including internal investigations, executive protection, workplace violence prevention, proprietary information protection, theft and property management, and crisis management.
• Design and deploy performance metrics (KPIs/CSIs) to measure security service effectiveness, and present to executive management as requested.
• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing review of security programs to protect corporate assets, including employees, vendors, visitors, and proprietary information.
• Coordinate security for visits from customers, government and other VIPs.

• Manage contracts and budgets with security service providers and oversee security systems maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement chemical security programs and ensure compliance with Department of Homeland Security CFATs and C-TPAT programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and implement corrective actions to continuously improve security controls and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Provide leadership to the Security Command Center and security staff, including receptionists, while managing surveillance, access control, and incident response.
• Oversee crisis management, disaster response, and business continuity planning in coordination with the Risk Management team and Emergency Response Center.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement, government agencies, and vendors to enhance security measures and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Oversee the selection, training, and supervision of security personnel.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Security, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, 15 years of progressively responsible corporate security management experience within a large-scale organization, US Federal law enforcement, government, military, or industrial security management.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in managing security technologies, including CCTV systems, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems.
• Familiarity with security-related software and databases, as well as standard software platforms such as MS Office.
• Experience with Department of Homeland Security CFATs and C-TPAT programs.
• Strong analytical skills to assess security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities to inspire and coach teams.
• Diplomacy and tact in addressing internal and external customer needs.
• Proven ability to work with diverse cultures, with preference for experience working with Asian cultures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to conduct site inspections, audits, and oversee physical security measures.
• May require extended walking or standing during audits and inspections.

Training:
Ability to travel to Taiwan for training for up to 2 months (if applicable).

Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.
