Benefits (Child Care) Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Benefits Business Analyst manages the collection, compilation, and analytics for TSMC’s benefits programs with an emphasis on childcare program offerings. Supports leadership to ensure the short and long-term direction of family/child care benefit programs are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives that also support a sustainable, workable model and plan for providing child care to the organization’s current and future workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the day-to-day administration of child care (family) benefit programs.  Serves as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries. Coordinates the development and distribution of education materials to increase awareness and understanding of program offerings.
  • Monitors and tracks program utilization. Using program utilization analytics, presents findings and recommendations that support the design and implementation of new or enhancement of existing child care and other family benefit offerings.
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics. Provides ongoing reporting to leadership and other key stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Partners with key internal and external stakeholders to track ongoing program spend and to prepare forecasting and related materials for the organization’s annual budget preparation process.  
  • May review benefits invoices to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payments to vendors.

 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review contracts and service agreements for accuracy and compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Must possess a strong knowledge and background in business administration and human resources as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field.

Must have progressively responsible experience performing complex data reporting and analytics. Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as ability to assemble complex data in an easy-to-understand format. Experience in Human Resources preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must demonstrate strong business acumen and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products, including demonstration of advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
