TSMC Arizona is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s Compensation Analyst is an integral team member responsible for supporting salary surveys, compensation analysis, pay administration, and program implementation of a variety of compensation related projects and programs in alignment with the compensation philosophy and strategies of TSMC Arizona.  This position functions as the team hub and contributes toward ensuring that our compensation plans remain competitive, compliant, and affordable.  The ability to work accurately and confidently with both numbers and highly sensitive and confidential information is essential.

 

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Collects and prepares company data for annual and ad-hoc compensation survey submissions. Summarizes and maintains survey results.
  • Actively collaborate with Compensation Team, HR, IT, TRD across our site/region/global locations to improve data accuracy and deliver clean processes.
  • Collaborate with site HRBPs and ensure reporting hierarchies are up to date for annual processes (merit/bonus)
  • Demonstrate proficiency in HRIS and all tools/systems required to administer compensation programs ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit requirements are met.
  • Supports compensation projects as assigned to include work related to merit and bonus administration, market analysis, reporting, systems testing, data loads, to ensure accurate and seamless implementation and administration of programs.
  • Prepares data and performs statistical analyses for new programs and company initiatives impacting compensation as directed.
  • Participates in development and delivery of presentations, education materials, program schedules in collaboration with HR team members as identified to ensure effective communication, education, and knowledge transfer.
  • Supports maintenance of SOPs, CIs, checklists, and other function related documentation under direction of Compensation Manager or more senior team members to ensure up to date work guides and audit compliance steps.
  • Supports offer approvals for Talent Acquisition as assigned.
  • Responds to auditor requests as needed in support of the compensation team.
  • Prepares accurate monthly bonus accruals for Finance.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, Psychology, or related field.
  • Prefer minimum of 2 years of prior professional work experience in HR within semiconductors or high-tech sector or as a Compensation Analyst within a consulting firm or complex multi-national organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced excel skills: Charts, Graphs, Pivot Tables, Macros, Regression Analysis.
  • Strong understanding of math and statistics.
  • Understanding of US wage and hour laws and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines; effectively handle short notice assignments.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate effectively both written and verbally across different levels and with other functions within the organization.
  • Flexibility to work extended time to ensure quality delivery of commitments on schedule.
  • CCP in process or committed to obtain.
