Facility Logistics Engineer

As the Facility Logistics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting essential logistics and inventory management within our facilities department. Your responsibilities will include designing, analyzing, and improving supply chain systems to ensure the efficient flow and storage of goods. You will analyze and interpret logistics data related to forecasting, procurement, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing, driving optimization and effectiveness across our operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lorry In / Out:

  • Manage ISO inventory in staging yard.
  • Coordinate daily orders of ISOs from vendors.
  • Oversee logistics movements of waste tankers and production ISOs at lorries.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure successful daily operations of chemical levels and waste management.

 

PR/PO:

  • Submit orders for the Gas Chemical team.
  • Track order statuses.
  • Handle submissions for parts, PPE, and other requested items.

 

Inventory and Logistics Management:

  • Manage inventory for spare parts, PPE, filters, and other items within the facilities department.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to understand material requirements, consumption rates, and order times.
  • Create TSMC AZ material numbers for specialty parts and manage local (national) shipments, determining optimal shipping methods.
  • Coordinate with Logistics department (Material Management) for emergency orders from headquarters in Taiwan.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to shipping/receiving and inventory management, identifying opportunities for optimization.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics and Transportation, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • 3+ years of experience in Order and Inventory Management.
    • 3+ years of experience working with inventory management systems, SAP or GCMS.
    • Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to chemical transportation.
    • Proficiency in basic mathematical skills including fractions, addition, subtraction, and division.
    • Previous experience in industrial operations or semiconductors is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency with computer applications.
    • Strong listening skills and teamwork capabilities.
    • Proactive approach and strong organizational skills.

 

Standard work hours: Monday through Friday
