Facility Logistics and Inventory Technician

As the Facility Logistics and Inventory Technician, you will operate in a high impact capacity where you will be responsible for supporting integral logistics and inventory management. You will manage inventory, submit orders, coordinate logistics, track statuses, submit parts, PPE and other items as necessary. You will create TSMC AZ material numbers for specialty parts, provide support for local shipments, and work with our Logistics/Material Management department for emergency ordering of items from headquarters in Taiwan.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lorry In / Out:

•         Manage ISOs inventory in staging yard.

•         Daily orders of ISOs from vendors.

•         Coordinate logistics movements of waste tankers, production ISOs at the lorries.

•         Work cross-departmentally to ensure successful daily operations of proper production chemical levels and minimal waste levels.

 

PR/PO:

•         Submit orders for Gas Chemical team.

•         Tracking order statuses.

•         Submit parts, PPE, and other items needed/requested by users.

 

Inventory and Logistics Management:

•         Work with all sections of our facilities department to manage inventory for spare parts, PPE, filters, and other items.

•         Create TSMC AZ material numbers for specialty parts.

•         Provide support for local (national) shipments for the department, knowing how and when to ship via FedEx versus using freight forwarders.

Working with Logistics dept. (Material Management) for emergency ordering items from headquarters in Taiwan.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High School graduation or GED is required
    • Technical College or Trade Program is preferred

 

  • Technical Skills:
    • Order and Inventory Management
    • Purchasing
    • Competency in basic mathematic skills including fractions, addition, subtraction, and division
    • Previous knowledge in industrial operations or semiconductors is a plus

Standard work hours: Monday through Friday

 

Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.
