Hookup Engineer

TSMC Arizona is looking for a Hookup Engineer to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Job Description:
Your main responsibilities include:
- Deep understanding of the specific functional area and its processes to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and production requirement.
- Collaborate cross organization to develop project plans specific to their functional area, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track project progress within their functional area, identify potential issues, and escalate concerns to the project manager as needed.
- Identify and mitigate risks specific to their functional domain that could impact project success.
- Facilitate communication cross organizationally, ensuring alignment on project goals and updates.
- Work closely with counterparts to ensure smooth integration and coordination across the project.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes within their functional area to optimize project execution.
- Willing to support new Fab in Europe, Japan, and headquarters in Taiwan for a certain period.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or above. Major in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Automation Engineering related fields, Construction engineering, Building science, Construction science, or Civil engineering.
- Ability to communicate and work in an English environment is a must (language ability in Mandarin, German, and Japanese is a plus).
- Experience with equipment installation is preferred.
- Proficiency in fundamental mechanical principles and concepts
- Good problem-solving skills, communication ability, team spirit, active learning attitude.
Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.
