TSMC Arizona’s first fab operates it’s leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. Brief Description:
A key role in the IT operations team, responsible for delivering a modern, efficient, and stable IT workplace for internal customers. This position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external service providers to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a quick learner, and adept at adapting to rapidly changing conditions. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with a broad IT knowledge base, are essential for success. This role requires availability for on-call work, including nights and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management, architecture design, implementation, and operations in one or more of the following areas:
    • Fab related system operation/troubleshooting
    • Continuous knowledge base establishing
    • AI driven system integration and fully utilizing the given platform.
    • Promptly engagement with fab users to meet business purpose.
    • Following standard procedure to conduct system changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
  • Conduct research and adopt new IT technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to address business needs and resolve technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong English speaking and communication skills (fluency in Mandarin is a plus but not required).
  • Industry certifications such as Java/Python/JavaScript, LLM, or Machine Learning, are preferred.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving across diverse IT systems and environments.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work on-site at our Phoenix, Arizona facility.
  • Flexibility to work on-call, including nights and holidays.

Training:

  • On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize the candidate with company-specific systems and processes.
