TSMC Arizona is looking for a MQR engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a MQR engineer, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

TSMC Arizona’s AZMQR is responsible for 5-nanometer fab production line quality, risk assessment when encounter issues.

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

• Define DPPM target of cutting-edge technology and reduce DPPM through Continuous Improvement Process
• Perform Product reliability risk assessment for fab event handling (CP, DVS, Baking, HTOL etc.)
• Execute Technical and analytical problem solving, using a structured methodology (PDCA, 8D, especially 3Leg/5Why, and KT)
• Evaluate Engineering Change impact on product Quality and Reliability
• Review Engineering Changes to ensure procedures are followed and Quality and Reliability criteria are
• Customer Communication Skills: Product Reliability Evaluation and Discussion and Test Screening Methods. Process Reliability Window Evaluation Discussion,

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Reliability, or a related field
• +3yrs of experience in semiconductor quality and reliability, integration, or product engineering
• Familiar with 4082 / MPPT / Sagi, especially with the programming of Excel VBA, Python code is preferred
• Experience with process reliability, e.g. TDDB, HCI, BTI, EM and SM etc.
• Good communication & collaboration to internal organizations and external customer engagements and Turnkey service
