Mask Equipment Technician

Mask Manufacturing Department is responsible for the mask manufacturing and repair processes, process analysis, and collaborative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks on photomask manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment.
  • Conduct visual inspections, monitor equipment and system tests, and verify Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) systems.
  • Address error messages from factory systems and equipment, applying troubleshooting skills as defined in standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Evaluate Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to ensure process quality and perform defect troubleshooting.
  • Manage and optimize the spare parts management system, overseeing the entire life-cycle of spare parts.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, emphasizing skill development and learning opportunities.
  • Perform responsibilities safely and responsibly while supporting Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security standards and programs.
  • Work on-site in a cleanroom environment, with shifts lasting 12–13 hours, 3-4 days per week.
  • Support engineers for production need with routine maintenance tasks during the day shift.
  • Serve as the primary responder during engineers' off-hours in the night shift.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s Degree in Science or Engineering related, equivalent technical training in military service, or sufficient machine maintenance experience after high school.
  • Able to operate computer and system interface programs to ensure appropriate computing and analysis of production information.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation.
  • Able to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses and gloves. Spend the majority of time (>90%, minus break time) on the factory floor working on the tools.
  • Able to work on a compressed work week schedule including night shift if clearly communicated and committed during the hiring process.
  • Typical shift is 12 hours long, alternating between three and four days every other week including breaks
