Project Assistant, AZ D&CD - Fixed Term
TSMC Arizona is looking for a Project Assistant, AZ D&CD - Fixed Term to join our new 4-nanometer fab, located in Northern Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves working in an office-based and construction site capacity, in an administration environment.
TSMC Arizona’s Construction Department is responsible for engineering and construction spanning all disciplines including CSA (Civil Structural, Architectural), MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Process), and specialty systems (gas & chemical delivery systems, clean room systems, ultra-pure water systems, wastewater treatment, etc.).
This is a temporary 12 month fixed-term contract position.
Overview of responsibilities:
- Training Administration: Manage and organize training plans to support departmental training projects. This includes scheduling tasks, providing administrative support for training project meetings, taking notes, and documenting follow-up actions.
- Meeting Support: Act as an interpreter for internal and external department meetings, ensuring clear communication.
- Training Coordination: Organize and schedule training sessions or activities for employees, and facilitate communication of schedules through data analysis.
- Data Management: Utilize Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for communication, tracking, and data analysis, including tasks such as managing inventory, calculating percentages, and creating SUM/AVG and Pivot Tables.
- Cross-Cultural Communication: Communicate effectively with business professionals in both Arizona and Taiwan.
- Onsite Work Requirement: Ability to work onsite at the North Phoenix location, Monday through Friday.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the department as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Working knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel, data mining query skills.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of working experience in administrative or project coordinator role.
- Experience in an industrial or construction environment, working with vendors and deadlines is preferred.
- Experience with office administration, parts inventory, department communication, Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including effective communication with all levels of management.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment including self-managing in completing multiple tasks, critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving.
- Bi-Lingual in (Mandarin) Chinese/ English is a plus, daily communication with department team.
