Section Manager, General Accounting

Brief Description:

TSMC AZ is seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead the General Accounting team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in accounting principles and practices, excellent leadership skills, the ability to drive efficiency in finance operations, and effective communication skills to collaborate with internal functions and external professionals. This role is vital to maintaining financial regulatory compliance and supporting a strong financial foundation for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Daily Operations:

• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Team Management:

• Mentor and lead the general accounting team to achieve departmental goals.

• Financial Reporting:

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting and analysis.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other functions to support financial compliance and drive transactional efficiency.

• Internal Controls:

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• System Automation:

• Utilize strong experience in system automation to enhance efficiency.

• External Relationships:

• Manage interactions with external professionals such as auditors, consultants, and government officials effectively.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education:
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Teamwork and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.
