 TSMC Arizona is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.  Job Description:

The Sr. Compensation Analyst works under minimal direction to provide professional and technical expertise in the support and design of compensation projects and programs to support our business needs while meeting all audit and regulatory requirements. Drives compensation projects managing assigned areas and performs design and analysis to achieve project purpose and timeline; provides mentoring to more junior team members and ensures transfer of design to compensation delivery department to ensure smooth implementation.

Monitors program design compliance, cost, and performance. Researches and analyzes emerging trends, best practices and designs, costs, generates insights and recommends program changes/options to align with key stakeholders. Advises the compensation compliance and delivery team on programs, policies, and guidelines to ensure understanding and smooth implementation. Acts as the day-to-day contact on compensation design matters liaising with other key stakeholders, including AZ IT, AZ Finance & Payroll, Mobility, Overseas Compensation, external vendors, other TSMC entities and our Headquarter TRD to support cross-functional work efficiency and alignment.

  Job Responsibilities 

  • Sets up complex spreadsheets, performs required compensation & data analytics and collects stakeholder feedback to develop and recommend solutions for unique business challenges.  Creates data models inclusive of alternative design options and cost impacts.
  • Conducts extensive qualitative/quantitative analysis on overall pay structure and programs including annual market analysis, incentive analysis, job leveling, benchmark assessment, cost/benefit analysis, compliance, pay equity, and organizational impact in a timely manner.
  • Supports key initiatives in alignment with start up Fab growth which may include project work supporting expats, rewards and recognition, localization, special short-term programs, etc.
  • Partners in knowledge transfer with compensation delivery to implement compensation design and strategies to improve operational processing and productivity in a startup environment.
  • Develops, ensures audit of, and maintains complex excel reports to support data analysis. May support delivery center on some programs.
  • Supports company audits as needed.  Ensures company compliance with relevant audits, laws and regulations. Maintains current and required documentation as assigned for policy, procedures (SOPs), controls, and plans.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum of Seven (7) years of compensation experience with at least two (2) years of progressive, professional experience in compensation program design, preferably in a multi-national corporation or consultancy firm and desirable industry experience in semiconductor, hi-tech, or manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compensation best practices, audit and regulatory environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced excel skills to include experience building data models, v-lookup, pivot-tables, formulas, willing to learn macros.
  • Strong math skills and understanding of statistics and regression analysis.
  • Experience with HCM, PeopleSoft desirable
  • Experience with surveys, Radford and WTW desirable
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
  • Excellent collaboration & communication skills, both verbal and written, across different levels and functions of organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and learning ability.
  • Flexibility to work extended time.
  • CCP in progress or completed highly preferred.
  • Onsite work required.
