Job Summary:

The Specialist, Organization Effectiveness (Program Support) is a cross-functional role that supports both Employee Engagement and Learning & Development (L&D) programs across TSMC Arizona. On the engagement side, the Specialist coordinates events, creates compelling storytelling content, and supports employer branding, social media, and internal communication through graphic design and video production. On the L&D side, the Specialist provides program facilitation and delivery support – presenting basic onboarding and orientation content, assisting facilitators with technical support, and coordinating training schedules with internal and external trainers. Applying solid project-management skills, the Specialist keeps programs organized, on schedule, and executed on time.

Essential Functions:

Employee Engagement, Branding & Internal Communication (50%):

  • Coordinate employee engagement and internal communication events end to end – planning events and logistics, managing vendors and materials, scheduling, and on-site execution – to deliver well-run experiences on time.
  • Create compelling storytelling content that communicates programs, culture, and employee experiences across internal and external channels.
  • Produce and manage graphic design and video content – from concept through editing and delivery – to support engagement campaigns, communications, and other business needs.
  • Support employer branding and social media by developing and coordinating content that reflects TSMC Arizona’s brand and values.
  • Draft, format, distribute, and manage internal communications – announcements, newsletters, and program updates – ensuring clear, consistent, and on-brand messaging.
  • Maintain content and event calendars, digital and physical assets, and communication records so materials are organized, current, and easy to reuse.

Learning & Development (30%):

  • Provide program facilitation and delivery support for L&D sessions, presenting basic onboarding and orientation content to new and existing employees.
  • Assist facilitators and trainers with technical support before and during sessions – setting up rooms, virtual platforms, presentation materials, and AV equipment, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate training schedules with internal and external trainers, aligning dates, locations, participants, and logistics to keep programs running smoothly.
  • Manage session logistics – registration, materials, attendance tracking, and follow-up – ensuring learners have what they need for a successful experience.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of training materials, participant guides, and program documentation.
  • Gather and compile participant feedback and completion data to support program evaluation and continuous improvement.

Program & Project Coordination (Cross-Functional 20%):

  • Apply project-management skills to plan, track, and drive engagement and L&D programs to timely completion, maintaining timelines, task lists, and action-item logs across concurrent initiatives.
  • Communicate program status, deadlines, and needs clearly and proactively to stakeholders, facilitators, and leadership.
  • Engage stakeholders across HR, business units, and external partners to gather the information, approvals, and inputs each program needs, following up to keep work on schedule.
  • Surface dependencies, risks, and delays early and escalate the right issues at the right time to keep programs on track.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Graphic Design, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in program/event coordination, communications, employer branding, L&D support, or a related role; relevant internship or academic project experience considered.
  • Demonstrated content-creation ability, including storytelling, graphic design, and/or video production, with a portfolio or work samples.
  • Experience in planning and coordinating events, schedules, or programs and following through on logistics to completion.
  • Experience preparing clear communications, presentations, or program materials.

Technical Skills:

  • Content-creation and storytelling skills, with hands-on capability in graphic design and video production (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere – Canva, or similar tools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, on-brand messaging for varied audiences.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills, with comfort delivering basic onboarding and orientation content to groups.
  • Project-coordination skills: timeline management, task tracking, and follow-through across multiple concurrent activities.
  • Familiarity with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Microsoft Forms, SurveyMonkey) and social media / content platforms.
  • Comfort providing technical/AV support for in-person and virtual sessions (e.g., Teams, Zoom, presentation and conferencing equipment).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, and carry light objects, including event and training materials and equipment.
  • May require occasional travel to company sites or other meetings that involve walking through office, industrial or construction environments.

 

Selection Criteria:

  • A content portfolio is required for review as part of the selection process.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience supporting L&D, employee engagement, employer branding, or internal communications programs in a corporate environment.
  • Advanced graphic design and video production skills, including motion graphics or short-form video for social media.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training delivery.
  • Experience managing social media channels and developing employer-branding content.
  • Experience in the semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or a large-scale, fast-growing organization.
  • Familiarity with project-management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, Smartsheet, Asana).
  • Relevant certifications or coursework (e.g., CAPM, ATD/CPTD, SHRM, or communications/design credentials).
