TSMC Arizona is looking for a Process Integration Engineer intern to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a Process Integration Engineer Intern you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust. All interns will be a part of a 10-week technical development program within our state-of-the-art semiconductor facilities. This program is designed to identify future engineering leaders of TSMC Arizona. The development program will offer valuable industry and functional insight. You will have the opportunity to have a mentor and learn from senior engineers and executives at the company.
What you will learn & how you will contribute:
- You will analyze Inline and EOL (End-of-Line) electrical data to determine causes for issues.
- You will need to learn several manufacturing systems to collect inline process data and end of line electrical and functional results.
- You will need to collaborate with Integration, YED (Yield Enhancing Department), and Process/Equipment engineers on specific project assigned, to review analysis results and coordinate improvement activity.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university, in Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science or Physics.
- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location from:
- Semester system: May 19, 2025 – August 1, 2025
- Quarter system: June 16, 2025 – August 29, 2025.
- The candidate is expected to utilize their engineer education, curiosity, and thinking to learn several new data extraction and analysis systems, basic N4 process flow and use this knowledge to collect and analyze inline and end of line data to solve issues or support improvement projects on the N4 fab line.
- The candidate will be expected to be self-motivated learner, good at proactive collaboration, and should get the opportunity to work in a team presenting and discussion their work and ideas.
- Strong communication, computer, presentation, listening, working with others needed to contribute to the team and TSMC Arizona’s culture.
