Work Force Development Project Manager - CHIP ACT

Objectives of this role

  • Support the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Track, analyze, and report project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks
  • Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for CHIP ACT projects
  • Maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and consultants
  • Monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Eight or more years of project management experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively operate within budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets
  • Excellent data reporting and analytics skills
  • PMP Certification Required
  • Experience in managing enterprise level projects
  • Experience in managing government or federal programs
  • Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets

 

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience leading team strongly preferred
  • Experience working in international company and cross-cultural environment
  • Professional certification such as PgMP, Lean or Six Sigma certifications preferred  
  • Experience working in a start-up environment a plus
  • Experience with working with academic institutes a plus
  • Experience in managing multiple enterprise level projects at the same time

 

This position is M-F on-site at our Phoenix, AZ office located at 5088 W. Innovation Circle, Phoenix, AZ
