Account Manager (5863)
Overview of Role
This role operates as a Account Manager based in San Jose, CA. You will manage several product lines for key accounts, including business and customer relationships. You will report to the Director of Account Management. The ideal candidate will create and execute sales plans to generate sustainable growth and drive customer satisfaction. TSMC is currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer relationships that includes C-level executives to leverage influencing and leadership skills to secure TSMC support
- Set appropriate final product integrated unit pricing models, including silicon wafer, testing, and assembly/packaging prices. Negotiate and provide quotes to close sales that drive revenue and profitability
- Collaborate within the account team and cross-functional teams on both business and technical issues with tangible actions for account strategy alignment
- Perform market and cost analysis to guide clients on the appropriate technology solutions with total cost of ownership in mind. Provide exemplary business analysis support to the Account Director and VP
- Drive demand creation including demand forecast and order fulfillment
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS in engineering or science
- 12+ years of combined experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Foundry Management in semiconductor industry
- Good knowledge of advanced semiconductor technology, process, and operations including test and product engineering
- Ability to travel (international and domestic) up to 10% in a year
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA with concentration in Accounting, Economics or Finance
- Experience in semiconductor backend packaging or process development/integration
- Experience working with legal teams on business and technology contracts
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills (writing and presentation)
- Conversational proficiency in Mandarin

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $124,500 and $180,500 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location. TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, allowances, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. We also offer extensive development opportunities and programs.
